MaMaChineseCooking.com was founded in early 2006 by a mother and son team. Ryan Du, a computer programmer, is lucky enough to have Amy Chen as his MaMa (Mother in Chinese) because she is simply a very good Chinese cook! He sets up the MaMaChineseCooking.com recipe-sharing system and encourages her to share her wonderful Chinese cooking recipes, techniques & tips online.
This system was designed right from the beginning for anyone to post anything, be it recipes, comments, feedback etc. It has been a recipe exchange and sharing site for many. You can help make MaMaChineseCooking.com an even more successful recipe website by sharing your own recipes. Your name will be displayed alongside your recipe. Posting new recipes is a quick and simple process – as easy as typing a Word document. Posting comments and feedback on existing recipes is just as easy.
Many recipes here are tried and tested either by the recipe contributor himself/herself or by our many visitors. Most recipes are simple and quick to prepare. This website comes in handy when you are at a loss at what to cook for your family – be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.
With more contributors like you, MaMaChineseCooking.com would be displaying many more wonderful recipes that everyone can share.
Welcome, and do feel at home here. Oh… and do register yourself to participate – it’s free. For those who register, featured recipes will be e-mailed to you from time to time.
Send all emails to Amy Chen & Ryan Du via MaMaChineseCooking@gmail.com & MaMaChineseCooking@yahoo.com (send to both).
